Privacy and cookies

The short version: we only collect what you choose to send us, we use it to reply to you, and we don't set any tracking cookies unless you say yes.

Who we are

Nulogic Marketing is the creative studio of Nulogic. We make film, photography, print and social content for schools, trusts and local authorities. Nulogic is responsible for the personal information you give us through this website, which makes it the “data controller” under UK data protection law.

What we collect and why

When you use the contact form or email us

We collect what you tell us:

  • your name, and the school or trust you work for
  • your email address, and your phone number if you give it
  • the service you're interested in, and your message

We use it to reply to you, talk through your project and send you a quote. We rely on our “legitimate interests” in answering enquiries people send us, and on taking the steps you ask for before any agreement.

At the moment the form opens your own email app with your message filled in. Nothing is sent until you press send, and it then reaches us like any other email.

We never sell your details, and we won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

When you browse the site

Our website host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for a short time to keep the site secure and working. Anything else only happens if you accept cookies, as explained below.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to two years after we last heard from you, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep project records for as long as we need to for accounting and legal reasons.

Who else sees it

Only the people at Nulogic Marketing and Nulogic who need it to help you, and the companies that provide our email and website hosting, who store it on our behalf and may not use it for anything else. If you accept cookies, Google and Meta receive information about your visit, as explained below.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. We don't set any cookies unless you say yes. If you say no, the site works exactly the same.

Right now neither Google Analytics nor Meta Pixel is connected to this site, so saying yes doesn't set any cookies yet.

The first three are kept in your browser's own storage rather than as cookies, hold nothing about you and never leave your device.

Change your mind at any time

Reopen the cookie message to accept or reject. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what information we hold about you and send you a copy
  • correct anything that's wrong
  • delete your information
  • stop using it, or limit how we use it

Email contact@nulogic.co.uk with “Data request” in the subject. We'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
